Intermediate Knitters
Finished Size: approx. 10" wide and 74" long
Materials: 4 balls Dune (50 grams); US 10 (6mm) needle
Gauge: 4 sts = 1" on US 10 needle in pattern stitch
Pattern Stitch (multiple of 4 sts)
Row 1 (RS): *K2tog, (yo) twice, ssk; rep from *.
Row 2 (Ws): *K1, (k1, p1) into double yarnover, k1; rep from *.
Repeat rows 1 and 2 for pattern.
Instructions:
With US 10 needle cast on 40 sts. Work first four rows in garter stitch (knit every row). Next row begin pattern always knitting the first two stitches and the last two stitches in garter stitch for your selvedge edge. Finish with four rows in garter stitch. Cast off in garter stitch. Block scarf if you wish.
