Gauge: 3.5 sts = 1" over St st on US 10 needle or size to get gauge. Pattern Stitch 1: Seed Stitch Row 1: *K1, p1, rep from * across row Row 2: *P1, k1, rep from * across row Repeat rows 1 and 2 for pattern Pattern Stitch 2: Blocks Rows 1 - 12: *K8, p8, rep from *, ending with k8 Rows 12 - 24: *P8, k8, rep from *, ending with p8 Repeat rows 1 to 24 for the pattern Instructions With smaller needles and Elaine cast on 114 sts and work in seed stitch for 1". Change to larger sized needles and begin Block pattern keeping first and last 5 sts in seed stitch. Repeat rows 1 to 24 five times more (a total of six times). Then work rows 1 to 12 once. Change to smaller sized needle and work in seed stitch for 1". Cast off all stitches in seed stitch.
