Beginning Knitters
Finished size: approx. 19" head circumference and 7.75" deep
Materials: 2 skeins Noro's Blossom (40 grams/77 yds) and i skein Noro's Cash Iroha; US 5 (3.75mm) and US 8 (5mm) needles; model knit in Blossom 19 and Cash Iroha 109
Gauge: 4.25 sts = 1" over stockinette stitch in Blossom using US 8 or size to get gauge
Instructions:
With US 5 needle and Cash Iro cast on 82 sts. Work 1" in K1, P1 rib. Change US 8 needle and Blossom and work in stockinette stitch until piece measures 7.75" from beg edge.
Bind off all sts. Sew back seam. Fold hat so seam is at center back. Sew top seam.
With Blossom yarn or a mixture of Blossom and Cash iro make two tassels and attach to top corners of hat.
